It includes a three-stage torso height adjustment system (from 16 to 20 inches) and a removable internal aluminum frame designed for even weight distribution and tension control against the body. Furthermore, both the large, robust waist belt and shoulder straps are removable, allowing users to fine-tune the fit and comfort for prolonged use in rugged terrain.
Access to the main compartment of the Fjord 80 is streamlined through a 46cm back panel, providing an extra-large opening for superior visibility and organization. Quick side access is also available via zippered pockets. The top of the pack incorporates a roll-top closure that can be expanded or compressed as needed, while a discreet front drop pocket offers convenient storage for small essentials like batteries, memory cards, and filters. The exterior of the Fjord 80 is crafted from regenerated nylon waste materials, highlighting NYA-EVO's commitment to sustainability. The pack's base is constructed from Hypalon, an exceptionally durable material. While both materials are largely waterproof, the presence of zippers and other access points means the bag isn't entirely watertight on its own. In addition to the Fjord 80 backpack, NYA-EVO has introduced two crucial accessories: the RCI-XXL insert and the Fjord 6 Toploader.
